The Story
Nuba Cafe is a café concept developed as a satellite business of Nubian Markets, located near Nubian Square in the Roxbury Neighborhood of Boston. Designed to deliver the same sense of culture, care, and community—without the grocery component—Nuba Cafe offers a more focused, café-forward experience. We partnered with the Nubian Markets team to develop brand strategy, brand identity, and signage for Nuba Cafe. Our work centered on creating a visual and strategic connection to Nubian Markets while establishing a distinct personality and tone—resulting in a brand system that feels both familiar and independent as the space prepares to open.
